Pneumatic vise tensile grips provide fast, repeatable specimen clamping for testing plastics, elastomers, thin films, textiles, and light metals without sample slippage.

Powered by dual- or single-acting compressed air cylinders, these grips maintain constant, operator-independent clamping force throughout the entire test run. As elastomeric and high-elongation polymer specimens stretch and thin out under load, the pneumatic cylinders automatically compensate for sample thickness reduction (necking) to eliminate grip slippage and prevent jaw breaks.

Engineered for high-volume quality control environments, they feature rapid actuation via foot pedals or hand switches and support parallel jaw alignment for accurate axial loading. Compatible with ASTM D638, ASTM D412, ASTM D882, and ISO 527 testing standards across various Universal Testing Machines (UTMs).
